KOBRA Wasteland - DayZ Epoch Chernarus

We are proud to introduce our second DayZ Epoch Server, KOBRA Wasteland. Where our first server, KOBRA Funhouse, focused more on exotic vehicles, a surplus of weapons, donor bases and plenty of vehicles, our second server looks to simulate a more hardcore atmosphere.

Our newest server includes Self Bloodbag, DayZ Missions, Remove Clothes, Auto Refuel, Lift & Tow, God Mode Traders, and around 300 vehicles. We have also added custom buildings, vehicles and load outs. Donors can purchase load outs that give a slight early game advantage, but are by no means game breaking. Depending on player attitude, we may add indestructible bases in the near future to help ensure some item safety.

In addition to BE, we run DayZAH anti-hax and admin tools on each server, with database backups running each day. Each server is running Epoch 1.0.2.5 as of November 17, 2013.

We are currently testing out indestructible bases with a 30 day maintenance period. Buildables become indestructible after reset and when maintained are re destructible again until reset. If we find that this is being used as an exploit, we will implement a more permanent policy that does not require maintenance. If our players enjoy this change, we will keep it permanently.

Some examples of our custom areas (buildings) include an especially valuable military compound in Northern Chernarus with several barracks, military tents and hospital tents (MASH). There is also a grocery store, a couple warehouses, and some factories.

We have also added barracks, tents of all sorts, warehouses, and factories to the two northern airfields. In addition to these improvements, we have implemented additional grocery stores, hospitals, offices and factories to Cherno and Elektro. We believe these map additions will act as a catalyst and improve base building with increased drop rates on buildables, and perhaps provoke a little more PvP!

We hope to see you there.

Updated the indestructible bases to include wooden objects in hopes of making base building a little easier. These objects still have a maintenance period of 30 days and when maintained are destructible until next reset. We suggest a plot pole or several around a base to prevent exploits of this system.
