map files for every map still in folder

can we delete "\dayz_1.chernarus\addons\SARGE\map_config" the extra files from there? if im using chernarus i shouldnt need to have tavi or anything else, but when i do delete it gives me an error at logon and doesnt load the server. where should i take it out if i can?

why would you delete them ? To save mission file space ?

If that's your intention, delete the contents and make them 0 byte files.

Deleting them fully will always lead to failure.
