Im working on a custom mod, so editing client and/or server files is not an issue. Ive successfully unbanned and added these 3 weapons to the loot table. they spawn in fine, but have problems after that.
When you come across a loot spawned mk16/17 and open up your gear menu, the weapons do not appear in the menu at all. if you use the prompt to "take" the weapon from the scroll menu, the player performs the animation as if he is picking it up, but the mk16/17 just disappears.
As for the SMAW and rpg, they can be looted, but not used. when either of them are on your back and you try to switch to them, there is no animation, but in the top right corner you can see that it has been selected even though the launcher is still physically on your back. you can load in ammo, but when you attempt to fire there is no impact or explosion, only the sound of it firing. it does remove the ammo as if it had been fired however. im assuming this is to prevent scripters from using them, so ive been digging around the server.pbo, but no luck so far.
Any help, advice, or tips for either of these problems would be greatly appreciated. Forgive me if either of these problems have been answered already. I searched the forums multiple times but couldn't find anything.
