The client and server files are both open source I am pretty sure.
If the Code is server side it should be fairly simple to implement and use, if its client side it may be more difficult.
I have a feeling the Epoch code is written to be compatible with most maps however it is using its own "Dayz" addin, so its a high chance its in the client files.
However clever manipulation could draw this back to the server files perhaps and allow for conversation onto a regular server or other mods if that's all you were after, or as an option.
I could ask the guys on the Epoch Mod Team if this is viable and get back to you.
