What is our world like?

Death still looms among the streets and coasts of Chernarus. The Red Star's destruction still scars the landscape. The dead walk the earth due to a failed bionuclear mass weapon of destruction.
With almost nothing left of the Old World, and the rest of the world seemingly meeting the same fate, Chernarus begins to rise again. The locals fight back against death itself as people begin to make an unlikely place for themselves in the center of the chaos. Before long it seemed folks made a life for themselves in this new world. Trader Posts formed, Factions and Militias gathered or fought, and bandits roamed the land waiting for an unsuspecting prey. What will your role be if you find yourself washed up along our coast?
