Roads?

I just tried to add a new road via the editor and DayZ.st but my rpt file just spat the roads out telling me it could not create them.

is there a special way to get new roads into the game, or is it impossible ?

As far as I know, it's not possible. But then again I could be wrong. Best google around, see what you can get

there must be a way to do it, or there would be no roads at all.

roads are built into the map. the buildings and stuff are static objects. what model did you even use for the road?

I have heard you cant use roads and rocks and such from addon packs because they dont have a class name. But this is just something i have read so im not completely sure.

it's not possible afaik. There are addons that will have road objects, but they don't work as expected.

trust me they don't work spent 22 hrs upgrading a map then pulling my hair out due to errors caused by putting roads in
