starting DZAI from init.sqf?

buttface, your instructions state to call dzai_initserver.sqf from server_monitor.sqf.

i usually start all my added functionality from init.sqf. the only difference i can see is the startup of DZAI is a bit delayed compared to your recommendation.

can i safely start DZAI from init.sqf or is DZAI relying on something which is started before the end of init.sqf is executed? it seems to work, but i just wanted to confirm with you.

prefer to leave as much as possible of the standard scripts untouched. having almost everything started from init.sqf looks clean and orderly to me ...

It's a perfectly fine way to start DZAI. The reason my instructions say to use server_monitor.sqf is to keep all the edits to the dayz_server.pbo only. As long as you know what you're doing, you can install it wherever you like.
