End of Dayz is a Survival PVE server with PVP zones and increased infected and animal spawns.
Whilst the main focus is survival, there are large open hostile zones for players to engage in PVP. Wildlife is increased to be more of a challenge, the infected may only walk but there are a much large number of them, and random hordes of up to 150 infected can spawn around the map without warning.
Many areas of the map are reworked (credit to Kaffeina for the excellent Nature Overhaul mod) to fit the scenario of a post-apocalyptic Chernarus. Other map features are the Prison Island Super Max Correctional Facility, the Summer Chernarus mod, and 3 custom treadings dealing in specific items at each one.
There are currently 2 custom vehicles, the BMW 325 and Land Rover 110, with more planned including the Kamaz in military and civilian variants. No vehicle damage is on preventing damage from collisions but drive carefully as you can still damage your engine by redlining. Gas stations are empty, meaning you'll have to work a bit hard to find fuel or save up to buy from the traders, but fuel is gold in Chernarus and it doesn't come cheap.
Using the Medical Attention mod by Lucian, you can become sick in a variety of additional ways. Be careful fighting the infected, one cut too many and you could become sick and need urgent medical treatment to survive. Blood tests will reveal exactly what condition you have, and transfusions must be of the right blood type or you will risk a hemolytic reaction. Oh, and don't stay up too late, you will need to rest to recover your sleep levels.
There are also a number of items and weapon packs installed, mods to improve gameplay and mechanics, map addons, and some general fixes to make the game behave how it was intended.
The server is new and early players will have the chance to help shape the server and get involved in deciding what changes should be made.
