I'm a noob at hosting a server, I have an amazon EC2 instance running a DayZ Epoch server. I have steam installed, but I copied the ARMAII and ARMAII OA files over to another directory for the sake of keeping the actual server files separate from the ones steam may update.
I have 1.62 running now and DayZ Commander won't update the server to 1.63, says wrong CD Key twice and no other prompts , so I am going to copy over all of the steam ARMA II OA files to the server's directory. I backed up my MPMissions/napf (only mission I'm running) folder. I also made a backup of the database, just in case.
Any others I need to grab?
Anyone have any tips or strategies for making updates easier?
