Origins Server?

Hm, do you guys have a good speed on your zombie spawns? because i can run arround in a town and it only spawns outside 2-3 buildings.

What can be the problem?

I have this issue too, noticed it earlier, Drove to the Byelov and ran to Sabina to test spawns and i noticed it took ages to spawn even 1 or 2, i also have a bug where the Zombies won't die, even with a M24 NATO round to the head they refuse to die (not a 24/7 issue as it soon rectifies itself after a hour or 2), I usually drive through towns so didn't think about zombie spawns as they don't spawn nor does loot when you're driving vehicles into towns but i've been a bit of a runner today and i've noticed slow spawns of loot and zombies, i think what the guys who know how to fix things need to do is collaborate all the fixes into one server package and upload it as theres been fixes needed here and there and i've got my server at a point where i don't know what files have been used
 
If i do a #restart i get this error:

Yes thats your problem too, takes so long for spawning zombies and like you said, without zombies there is no loots.

If someone have there zombies spawned fast, please help us out :)

Yes thats your problem too, takes so long for spawning zombies and like you said, without zombies there is no loots.

If someone have there zombies spawned fast, please help us out :)

Seems we are all having the same issues? Loot + Zombies spawning and editing the database loot/inventory directly?
 
I think there is a MySQL bug to be honest as i can fully back out of my server, edit my inventory for say a round of ammo or maybe change my worldspace and re-join and it will remove it from my inventory or with worldspace i will end up somewhere completely different from what i set it to (vehicle location as an example that is confirmed to be there) or it will put me at a default spawn , i have no error on HiveEXT and database saves it correctly after triple checking/save theres that issue and i'm trying to look for a way to get the refuel at station script working, i pull up to the petrol station on my Taviana server and i can scroll my mouse to a refuel option, i copied the 2x files from Tavian mission file "kh_actions" + "kh_vehicle_refuel" append this to the init.sqf as in my Tavi init.sqf.

so no real solution to this empty house thing...

i got the refuel script working on my server...
where did you put these 2 files?
because in the scripts.txt you have
Scripts\kh_actions.sqf
which means it has to be in the folder Scripts

and in the init.sqf you have
kh_actions.sqf
which means it has to be in the root folder
so it just cant find the files to execute i guess

No idea for the empty house thing, i have yet to play with building things and ahh that must be my issue, i have kh_vehicle_refuel in the root of mission folder ;P thanks for that though
 
I have no issues with loot spawning on my server. Got mission file and server file from Mattz. Have a word with him :)
 
The Urals on Sector B are spawned by the script pCleanup in the database. The script does delete the Urals first and then spawn them back to the Island with stuff in it. You can edit the inventory of the Urals by editing the pCleanup script in the database.

I use the following command to run the pCleanup script.

mysql.exe --user=dayz --password=(pass) --execute="call pCleanup()" dayz_origins"


I edited the Loot of the Urals in the pCleanup script but as soon as i start the server, its reseting itself back to normal.
The same happens if i want to add something in character_data table.
How did you get it work?
 
Well, have everything working correctly, zombie spawns except for possibly too many Ivan's popping up, loot spawn, vehicle spawn, etc, as well as that annoying Unofficial Server Warning. Here's what I can't figure out. Houses won't build. While on a remote Island, have the cement mixer filled with all the required building materials, blueprints, etool and tool box, staying within 10m of the mixer, right clicking the blueprints and nothing at all. The option to 'build foundation' is there. Click it, and nothing. Checked all my logs, and nothing.

Any ideas?
 
Ok, finally i got it working with the character_table and ural loot.

Heres how i do it:
Do NOT edit the character_table or the pCleanup Script itself.
Open up MySQL workbench and click on edit SQL Script.
At the window what pops up you can click next without changing anything.
Next window you have to locate your SQL file. (I took a dumped backup file)
Then click finish and type in your SQL password.
Now the dayz_origins.sql file opens up.
Scroll down till you find Records of character_data. Here you can edit your inventory.
Scroll further down till you find Procedure structure for pCleanup. The lines for the Urals begin with INSERT INTO.
Here you can edit the Loot for the Urals at sector B.
If you put some other guns in it dont forget to input the number of guns too.
And remember some guns are not allowed.

reinstall origins through dayz commander. i had some people on my server download modded files to get around the warning message and they couldnt build houses. had them remove it and it let them build the houses.
 
loot and zombies and fast time are fixed in : http://rghost.net/46003073 (the day/night change is some kind of unsync but working).

Also i have adjusted variables.sqf in fix\variables.sqf :

dayz_spawnDelay =50;
dayz_spawnWait =-50;
dayz_lootDelay =1;
dayz_lootWait =-50;

additionally there is a annoying restriction in player_spawnCheck.sqf

_maxZombies = 50; (original value)
i´ve set it to _maxZombies = 2000;

now no more problems wirh zombies and loot spawning

Loot problems with car: If you enter a loot aree with car there is a quite huge timer in player_spawnCheck.sqf

try out to set it like this:

if (dayz_inVehicle and !_inVehicle) then {
dayz_spawnWait = -60;
//_maxZombies = _maxZombies + 2;
};

It´s also worth to change line 94 in player_spawnCheck.sqf to: if (_age > 1) then {

since i made this changes no one ever complained about loot/zombie problems.

Why enable the refuel in origins when there are 80 lt JerryCans ? it might be worth a try to only allow automated refuel at the refuel islands, but i can´t see no need for this. it makes the game experience even better without .
 
So I've seen a number of fixes for the lack of loot. Do any of them actually work? Have people tested them? Also, is there a way to decrease the number of Ivan spawns? I've ran into 100+ of them yesterday alone, which is kind of silly.

I haven't found a single Jerry Can due to loot spawning issues plus its just for i and my partner to play on not much of a challenge considering we edit our inventory for fuel
