I have added on an Epoch Metals Trade menu to the gun shop.

Add this to the gunshop.sqs right below, sel = (_this select 0) addaction ["sell some.......

Place this file in your Gunshop folder.

Upload and enjoy.
 
You know, if you want the newest version, you could always go to the official server, and once you load the mission file it will save to your computer to your mpmissions cache which is usually located here:

C:\Users\[Insert Your Username Here]\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\MPMissionsCache

After that all you have to do is open the most recent one and then poof, you now have the most up to date version, granted if you do this you will have to search through it for any new calls or dohickeys that may be new.


by the way the ip to the official server as stated in the release post is : OFFICIAL SERVER @ 74.91.121.166:2322

Lol that is true but thats is not where we keep all of the updates and our minigames are stored server side. But it has a few extras you can get but nothing compared to what we are going to release for 2.0 because 2.0 is stored on my computer silly.

EDIT: Plus that server is only for extra stuff not everything i release so like it has one minigame and i am going to release three minigames for 2.0.

Seeing as it is in the main release post its not really advertising, though if anyone sees it as that then so be it, as for my previous post, then yes as I did not know stuff was put onto the server pbo now my method would not be as effective as just waiting, but it does give the people who are "dying" for it at least a preview, plus that method is a good thing for anyone to know in general.

that is true but alot of updates are being moved server side just because of that stupid tactic people think is sneaky and ninja like.

Yup and I only mean't to say thank you for the free advertising :D

Ofcourse you didn't know stuff about what was put on the server. You have zero actual knowledge of anything with scripting or how to's.

It's also not "your" method, its just something you learned ineffectively and trolled this support forum with.

Anyone that takes the mission pbo as it stands right now is not getting the 2.0 release, they're only getting snippets of what we're testing and working on lol

So to all of you with that intention in mind, That server is not carrying 2.0, it does have some nice things you are more than welcome to try out, but we will give zero support on it at this moment, so use at your own risk :) being we're not giving you the server pbo files
 
Geez, people need to sit back and wait. It's like the kids that stole the copy of Halo 3 a week before launch. They got their Xbox Live accounts banned until the year 2552. Sit tight, all good things come in time.

I am not claiming that I know anything about scripting, but as for a "how to", well if someone tells me how to do something then I guess I will know "how to" do it.

All I came here to do was give people a piece of information that they could possibly find useful, though I'm not sure how it is that I learned it Ineffectively, I did effectively learn this method, whether it is effective or ineffective though is a different story.

I don't know whats "Twisting the Stick" if you know what I mean, but there is no need for you to be hypocritical of a method you yourself employ.

Oh well, to each their own.
 
What scripts do you guys recommend for unlocking with levels? A lot of scripts use the fn_selfactions so I don't know how. Towing is the only real one...

1) Stop assuming I am trolling you because you do not like what I am saying.

2) I do know how to spell you, on the other hand, do not. Example = shameless should have been shamelessly in that sentence

3) Whether or not someone cares what I think, matters not. what you have managed to do is turn this discussion/support thread into a useless flame war over facts that you pull out of a hat on the fly.

4) My method was not to "shamelessly" plug your server, nor wreck another.

5) My method is simply a way for any person to be able to pull apart another mission file; see how it is set up, and if
they so choose, implement those things into their server.

6) Oh, and here is the kicker, whatever anyone chooses to do with their files is of their own volition, I am not
responsible for any trouble that may or may not occur during the process.

7) Here is a bit of advice though, all you have to do is make a backup of your previous mission and guess what?
Oh that is right, your server will not be broken.

Now, in my official closing statement I shall reiterate the point that it was never my intention to troll this forum, but seeing as I was provoked into this for I truly dislike false accusations being placed upon me, all I can say now is that you brought this upon yourself.
