I running stapo's taviana 1.5.0 server files. I have several players saying that the G36sd and other weapons that don't seem to be banned are disappearing when they pick them up. I'm using gotcha and it doesn't seem to be banning the weapons. Do i need to update BE filters or something?
Stapo the new my.ini fixed the problems with database commits and loosing gear but now I see desync when anyone connects. Is there any tweaks that could solve this that you know of?
So we've been running our first tavi server for a week now and I have to say it's pretty buggy. I don't know if it's the tavi build or the server files. I'm using Stapo's / Pwnzors server files for tavi 1.2.0.
Here's the problems we've seen
-Loosing weapons alot ... store them in a vehicle...
I'm having some issues with data not being committed to the DB. We have lost items that we put in tents or vehicles. I see in the logs that I'm getting warning "MYSQL has gone away. The whole time I was connected to the server via RDP and didn't drop my connection, so it doesn't seem to be a...
The vehicles already spawned at least once, after a reboot they were still in the objects table and then when pMain execuites and runs the other funtions they respawn to original location . It was working all along and all of a sudden everyone loses their vehicles with no damage and loot...
I'm not in front of it right now but I'm thinking that that date stamp shouldn't matter on vehicles should it? If damage=1 delete else do nothing. I'll have a look at the date stamps anyway when I get home to be sure.
Here's my pcleanup, this shouldn't delete vehicles unless damage is = 1 thought should it
BEGIN
CALL pCleanupOOB();
DELETE
FROM object_data
WHERE Damage = '1';
DELETE
FROM object_data
WHERE DATE(Datestamp) < CURDATE() - INTERVAL 8 DAY...
Here's my problem
Using pwnzors 1.7.4.4 files
I have the server up for two weeks and perform regular shutdowns and backups.
Tonight I do a shutdown, backup and restart and most of the vehicles that players had are gone.
I restore to latest backup and load up the DB only.
Check object_data and it...

Thanks for the files ... it works great. I took a while to setup at the beginning as the Tavi client files were not included (1 gig). So heads up you need @dayztaviana. I missed it in the github description when I first installed it.
Stapo I am getting one error in the bat window on launch...
I was thinking about doing it differently then this. I was going to make a copy of the whole arma2 directory and run a second instance from there. Change up the ports and db names etc. That way you can test different beta version etc without affecting one of the other instances. Sure this...
I got it sorted. There was an vehicle in objects that must have been bugged out of bounds or somethink like that. I cleared the vehicles and let them spawn again. I also updated the hiveext and database.dll files and I have more consistent startups now.
Hey guys,
I just restarted my server and now it will not restart. It hangs on executing scripts, the DB fires up without issue. If open the db with navi and run pmain it hangs on processing.
I made changes to the object_classes, and the object_spawns tables yesterday to get more vehicles...
I figured it out. You need to update the object_classess with classnames and maxnum. You also need to add entry's into the object_spawns to tell them where to spawn. Now on to finding some good cooridinates for vehicle spawns. Is there an app where you can get the worldspace coordiates or...
So I've been having a little problem that I have not been able to figure out. I'm using pwzors files for 1.7.4.4. Vehicles are spawning ok after updating the pSpawn and pMain funtions. I'm trying to change the type of vehicles that spawn and their numbers but haven't been able to make this...
