Animated Helicrashs 0.1 - Release


I've tried all of those and followed the guide but there is some things in the guide that aren't correct with new version.

How do you translate the coordinates in the .RPT log to in-game map?

"CRASHSPAWNER: UH-1H just exploded at [7223.67,8248.44,99.5679]!, "
 
[X,Y,Z] where Z = height
Databse is [R,[X,Y,Z]] where R = Rotation and Z = height (e.g. [115,[15233.7,14594.5,0.001]])

Edit: I converted the most recent crash cords and went there, and yes there was a crash! :) Thanks for the help.
 
I just started a new Taviana server using Dayz.ST. I downloaded the server pbo file and extracted it. When I look at the compile folder, I do not see any reference to a server_spawnCrashSite.sqf

Do I have to add this? If so, can someone post the entire sqf script for me?
If I have to add it, can you also let me know any other changes in any other files that need to be added/edited to make it work?

is there a way to boost zombie spawns, or make zombies spawn instantly after crash so when people drive up they have a hard time looting it. like a SET amount of zombies also.

This was the biggest downside of taking away zombies spawning while in vehicles. Would be nice to at least add static zombie spawns at crashsites.

On a side note, anyone know if the crashsites glow at night time?
 
Ive tried everything to get this working.. My choppers just hover in one spot, until you approach them or shoot at them. then fly off. I can look down the coast a sometimes see 5 choppers just hovering in one spot. Any ideas?
 
I had thought I fixed the issue of no loot at first, when I followed the instructions on page 24 to modify the code. I am still getting errors like this thrown at every crash, though.

I tried switching back to the default .sqf from the official .rar file. Same errors. Any ideas?
 
Hi everyone, I've tried this script loads. Removing and Repeating it over and over :p

I've done everything as instructed and still have no heli crashes, like none at all.
Here's my log from my Server:

If you are running a custom debug monitor, that is what is likely causing the error. Try disabling that and see if you still get the error.

Thats Probably the error, but I'd much rather keep my debug than remove it for animated heli crashes.

Make sure your debug monitor under if (!isDedicated) then { , in your init file. That may take care of your errors.
 
Hi,

I've setup missions for my server and I don't see the flying copters/planes like before...

I've found that : this is modifying the same part of the server_cleanup.sqf file. I have now "getVariable [""Mission"",0]" instead of "getVariable [""Sarge"",0]".

Do you know if there is a possible way to make them work together ?
