Code Porting from arma2 to arma3?

is there a big step from Arma2 to Arma3 Codes ?
Or is it still the same

Im probably going to be working on just arma 3 stuff now as just finished playing tonight and its astonishing to say the least. I'm sure many others feel the same.
 
I was going to start learning how to do specific things for our current sahrani project, but I think as SuperMario says, after playing for 10 seconds on A3 I decided to skip over learning anything for A2 modding... I will dive straight in as a newb in A3 and basically only work in there... (you won't want me "working" on our active project for now anyway lol)...

From what I understand so far though from reading the BI and Armaholic forums modding for A3 is VERY similar, however I think the new character models present a bit of a problem but I'm not sure exactly why/how... Anyone more in the know what to explain why "inverse kenimatic animation" is such a stumbling block?

I might not even be right on that, but I think that's what I saw someone saying was the largest hurtle for modders.
