DayZ 2017 Installation Instructions

Extract The @DayZ2017.rar into your Arma II OA Directory so it looks like this

Then follow the launch instructions below.

Launch DayZ 2017 [DayZCommander]:

Go to Settings

Then override the default DayZ directory by clicking Override

Then change change it from "@DayZ" to "@DayZ2017" so it looks like this

Then click done and filter for "DayZ 2017" or "2017".

Launch DayZ 2017 [Non-DayZCommander]:

Go to Steam and set launch Options to this:

"-mod=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2;Expansion;ca;Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;@DayZ2017" -nosplash -world=empty

OR

*NOTE: Retail (Non-Steam) Users are only required to do Step 2.

1 .Go to your Arma II Directory and copy the addons folder into your Arma II OA directory.

2. Make a batch file in your Arma II OA directory containing this:

start Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe -mod=@DayZ2017; -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -world=Empty

hhmm it still says bad version,server rejected

if you get bad version error download lastest beta patch, once installed go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta and copy the 2 .EXE files and paste them in to the arma 2 operation arrowhead directory here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead replacing the old one. this works for me

I also get this error, and dont know where to download the update?
