EPM DayZ RCon Tool (Beta) Changelog and Information

I posted here along time ago about a name feature. I prefer this tool to other Rcon tools, but i would still like to see a name feature added. From what i understand it's nothing technical, it just simply adds some letter before the message you type. On DaRT it adds [NAME] and the name you chose in you settings.

For example: [Murphy] Hello.

If you could work your way around this then i could see myself going back to using EPM over DaRT as it's feature list is far more extensive.

As for the rest of the tool, perfect, no complaints.

EDIT: I flicked through your forums and noticed this had actually been confirmed by Cortez but was not in the latest release, still waiting i guess.

@novaline Yes you need to have BE enabled and active for this to work.

The new test build does have the admin naming feature, it's moved from being an option to being forced to enter a name before you're allowed to connect to the server. This allows users to know which admin they are talking to.

Fixing a last few issues with connection dropping and such, once that is fixed the new build will be released.

Its not saving players to my database and also when i click on More Options i get unhandled exception error

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Yes it fixed the problem with the more options tab thanks.
But still Database is not showing any players

Hey there, I love this tool, but I had a few questions.
First was regarding the global, private, and local database settings. I'm running a Private hive, and I'm not sure what the difference between the 3 is.
Next was regarding chat logging. It seems EPM is only logging global chat, which no users other than admins have access to. So no chat is logged. Meaning no server chat even shows up in EPM, so players could be talking about hacking and nuking Cherno and I wouldn't have the slightest clue. Is this an option? I can't find anything in regards to enabling chat.
Hopefully I'm just missing something. Thank you for the great tool!

Sorry to necro this thread, but DaRT is really fkn annoying with it's constant dropouts and no copy/paste ability from chat window. Although it does have one nice feature, which is flags to let us know the country of origin of our players. Any chance of getting that added to EPM?

New update released, fixes the banlist issue.

This thread was rather out of date so im sorry about that, if i fail to keep this thread up to date check the threads out on BI's forums and my own forums.
