is a side effect that they can inject files? we seem to be getting people coming in everyone gets an error like config.bin 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 etc

click continue, in which cause it seems to give them access to execute their scripts, and the error and prompt is displayed until the servers restarted.
 
Yes I have seen the 000000000000, I must say that using KK's map has helped us deal with scripters a lot!!, planning to update it and add any new stuff to it?
 
Today I banned the same person about 12 times, every 2min, with different GUIDs each time. It was like he was mocking me. Furthermore, sometimes, I think what's worse is the legit players who complain about hackers and state "Omg, there was 1 hacker on your server tonight. You are not doing a good job. I always play on your server so I think I will make a good admin". Not only admining servers is pretty much a full time job, I believe an admin should not play on the same server they moderate since one glance at killzone/silentwarriors admin tools and you're cheating.

Phenom mentioned that his servers were getting DDOS'd which is ironic because to stop the script kiddie mentioned in the beginning of my rant from constantly joining/hacking, I DDOS'd him (Not the most ethical thing but meh).
 
I get that sometimes where the person keeps coming back, that's why I IP ban them as well, that way it's at least as inconvenient for them having to restart their modem as it is for me having to ban them.

We've been on a ban roll these last few days, it's just a shame that some of the shit they do requires you to restart the instance to fix it.
