How to have a day/night script?

So im running a dayz.st server and i was wondering how i might implement 3 hours of day and 1 hour of night
 
you need to run an accelerated time script. I used to run it, but night time is pretty unpopular and people would leave even with only an hour or so of night. give me a bit I'll find the post/instructions for you
 
I got to talking with this guy on a thread about a zombie overhaul mod that I don't actually use, but I noticed it had time acceleration. At the time, I had been looking for something like this for a long while. Anyway.. it ultimately became unpopular and I noticed a significant decrease in server population when I had nights running. Which is a shame because I thought it was awesome.

I hear ya man, I like nights but people just mass rage quit for some reason
 
yep, I used to run a Namalsk always night server... it was a survival style not PVP and it was hard.. no one played it but me hahaha.. wimps!
 
Yea people are starting to tell me the zombies are to hard on my server >.> like ITS A ZOMBIE GAME its not suppose to be super easy

you will never be able to make people happy. Tell them to shut up and play the game or fuck off
 
I had run day only but changed it to regular 24 hour cycle. I am in New York. So on our server it starts getting dark around 11:30pm and then sun rises around 7:30am. That's allot of darkness. I am thinking about going back to all daylight cause no one plays when it is dark. I'd like to run a 3 hour day 1 hour night if possible see how that flys with my player base.
 
I run a 6 restarts day, 1 night cycle. And of that one night it's dark 1.5 hours, light 1.5 else people would freak out :/

It is possible. Read the link I pasted, you can accelerate time.
