I am thinking about laying traps... mybe with a random time and animal that can get caught in it... I will keep thinking about how to get this to work later.
Does sound pretty good from what you're describing about how animals can get caught. Think it could bring a new feature to the mod. Just make sure they disappear on restart, unless they just break your leg.
