Switching Hosts

Hey everyone!

If I wanted to switch to a new host, would I just have to make a backup of the database and then once the new host is set, do a restore? I do not want anyone's stuff to disappear.

this question would be better asked to the new service provider.... you're asking your local bar for help with a new hardware tool you want to buy, instead of going to the hardware store or contacting the manufacturer. Every host is different and they'll usually help you port over.

Make backup, get new server, check differences between databases -> fix old database to match new one -> import backup to new server.
