[SUPPORT] - Sheeps Epoch Repack

I was under the assumption that the repacks were fully working versions of Epoch/Overpoch that were plug and play? I mean, otherwise, what's the point? Is it the end user that is supposed to debug them? Might as well just build them from scratch and debug as you go, if that's the case.

They are to a point .. You still have to have a working Epoch Server, the .15 packs are in testing .. working out the kinks .. no one said they where ready for production yet .. the after u have a working server. all you do is swap drop sheeps folders in and go.. there is lots of customization you can do to these .. turning unwanted scripts off etc .. you can have a fully working server in an hour.. good luck doing that script by script on your own.. unless your a scripting guru .. even then your talking a month to get it all playing nice together.. but if you feel this aint for you .. why post in the first place ?
 
Was unsure how to do it in notepad++, will have to look it up

just right click on the category select edit notepad++ not rocket science

just add an item from the guns link .. I copy an entry and paste below the one above , then after all done save the file, of course you will have to save with the server offline, say during restarts

No damage to vehicles on plot poles is defiantly not working, base glitcher just proved that tonight.

Is in Epoch Chernarus .. I set off 30 satchel charges, everything locked withing the plot range survived ... unlocked cars do not .. if your looking to make a ai city castle walls etc will not withstand satchel charges , but cinder, boulders and Dam_Barrier_40 ( listed under roads ) do withstand charges ... and rockets

Damage to vehicles only works if you haven't unlocked it and then locked it again. So if you run to your base and then lock the vehicle then it will still be fair game. If you relog then it is safe again. Its not perfect (if you want to have a fully prtected vehicle) and is only really designed to protect your vehicles while you are offline.

No worries, not all hand guns are in the list. (Will look at modifying that for overpoch tomorrow) G17 is on list for sure.

Anyone on the standard epoch build but me , having issue buying chainsaw from trader build number 541
It lists the chainsaws, but no picture, and when u try to buy .. takes your cash and you get nothing.
they are in the CfgServerTrader as below took out the pricing, looks correct , so what is the dealio ??

The freeze on start up seems to be created by the fast rope script. (thanks Blood_bourne for doing the work to find which script)
Are you planning on bringing out an error free repack anytime soon? I would LOVE to use one for a new project but unfortunately the sheer number of errors in the existing ones turn me off them. I like the work that you do though, keep it up :)
This is not the release thread. We are working to get the pack solid. Which it pretty much is now. We would be interested to see what errors your getting can you please send us your server and client RPT.

I am not bagging out anyone. As I have said previously I like the whole idea AND the work that sheep does. It saves everyone a LOT of time and effort in putting a server together. I'll just shut my mouth before anything else I say is taken the wrong way. Carry on gentlemen, love your work :)

Hey mate. No need. There are a lot of international people here so language can be mis interpreted. If you have found errors or know of so,e we would like to know so we can explore them and fix them up.
 
Brave Sir Robin, i know you mentioned it earlier on, i can't seem to find it tho. People getting kicked for taking the extra skins with a setpos 0 vilation.

Was that the same thing you were having? and did you fix it?

OK my players once they die get stuck in purgatory (debug) if they combat log they usually can get in boots on the ground This has been going on for awhile now
