[SUPPORT] - Sheeps Epoch Repack

Lots of people ask questions on OpenDayz.net and especially in the Sheeps epoch repack since it seems to be popular.
Everyone here wants to help each other and especially get new admins running their new server. But when you have a problem, MOST of the time the description of what your problem is doesn't help anyone figure out your solution. So ... please .... post a link to your arma2oaserver.rpt log if you are having trouble.

My sever (Overpoch, latest) is hanging on this message and I can't figure out why. Perhaps I missed a step in setting up Overpoch?

The file is definitely there, in my @DayZ_Epoch_Server folder.
Is there supposed to be a @DayZ_Overwatch_Server folder? I am new to the concept of Overpoch, but I have been hosting Epoch and Vanilla DayZ for awhile...

You are using the @dayz_epoch, @dayz_epoch_server and @dayz_overwatch folders. The @dayz_overwatch_server folder will probably exist on your host but its not enabled in the server launch script.
Your issue is probably your $pboprefix$ should be named $prefix$ ...

if i join server and iam "in game" ( i see debug monitor on right and server write base jump will load in 2 minutes) then nothing. i wait 10 min looking on black screen and waiting for any...something :D but notning, can you help me ?
Which version do you use it?

Yep, Sheep confirmed that was some sort of issue in the pack. Seems to be working properly now! Just waiting to use it until it has Overwatch items and Infistar filters! ^.^
 
i'm also stuck at load screen,i think its around backpack,i deleted all and logged ok,i'm still testing,someone found missing semicolon here:

edit:seems to be working,one friggin' semicolon..so who's stuck,please test:)

it seems they don't need to have this,but for me it helped...
(i also deleted mission cache from local computer,so...maybe it was that also...now what..)

and some other thing
some of theese new buildings (happened on chernarus NE airport,the one with crashed c130),sqf spawned,there are new barracks - but ai seems to ignore them,they went right through wall,i almost sh*tted myself:),happened this to anyone else?server was utilized by spawning,first start,so maybe just cpu usage,or maybe buildings are only client side?this could be worked changed by placing them server side(or vice-versa,but ai runs on server,right?except for zombies?not sure),so this might be some thing to look at after bigger issues are solved...now if i remember how did i changed it 6 months ago...

buildings are server side. the ai ignoring fences and buildings and just walking right through them is a feature to improve the pathfinding skills of the AI, or at least that was the explanation on the Bohemia website. I think AI are less likely to walk through buildings if the buildings are created before the AI.

even if you have your custom buildings in the mission the building sqf file is within a isserver block so it's only executed on the server even if it is in the mission file
 
Hey sheep i wonder if you could make this script pack work on taviana it'd be a nice addon to the likes of dayz overpochins (Overwatch, Epoch, Origins)? :)

Sheep found the issue for this, PBO manager didn't pack the $prefix$ file. He has now changed the program used to pack the pbo.

i went back and checked the init and found both #include lines missing the ; i aded then in to the git build, working on other bugs now :)

The repack number 0.14 or 0.15 and also the build number of the pack would be very helpful. As there might have already had a fix applied.

I personally have had no issues with AI ignoring buildings at all. Will double check this issue tonight when i get back in my server and report back.

No RPT errors as yet which is good.

Can report that AI do not run through the buildings at the NE airfield. AI are tracking as per normal.

Have just had a report that a player is receiving broken bones everytime they join the server recently, they heal, log out, come back and broken bones again.
