TSW question

Hi there, I have just downloaded the latest version of tsw anti hack with the live server side options thingy. Ive managed to log in and im going through the steps of installing it and I have to copy sone code into my server monitor file. But I dont know exactly where in the file it goes.

Does anyone else know please.

i guess you would be better served at the TSW forum asking the silentwarrior directly...
last thing i read about this was it is not fully implemented yet...
but im curious what we can do with this once its ready to go =)
 
I've just uploaded the pbo ill report back if I can get it working, copied and pasted this from somewhere:
This will allow you to instantly spawn vehicles & objects and perform other server side tasks such as changing weather on the fly etc... The changes will take place LIVE on the server

Lol, didnt expect that to work first time!!! Just turned my server nighttime and everyone, went 'WOAHA' LOL....was funny.
so that is working....havent figured out the other features yet

When installing the DB tables, how long does it take? Mine has said "installing tables" for quite a while now. Will it tell me when it's done or should I just go ahead and go to the next step to install the scripts?
 
Ahh, does it say that you are all logged in correctly? You need to be logged in first. Other than that i'm not sure sorry.

Ok , on step 1, did you click on 'install Db tables' ? if so, directly underneath the '3 step buttons' for me it says, straight away, 'tables installed, proceed to scripts install' .

If it doesnt say that, im guessing something isnt configured correctly, try deleting the current key in TSW key management and make a new one, or/and do it directly using the tool.

Hmm I'm sorry mate I don't know. I would email Juan Carlos. Tell him everything you have done and see what he says. Maybe something needs configuring from his end.

I wouldn't worry about it too much at the moment anyway, its extremely buggy....keeps connecting and disconnecting automatically, quite a lot, and all you can do at the moment is change the time and date without restarting the server, the other features haven't been implemented yet so you're not missing out yet :)

Hey Robbie, I'm having the same problem, have you figured out a fix? I just bought this TSW anti hack tool earlier this morning, and it continues to fail to connect to my server, saying that its failed to get my installer ID and, keeps asking if I'm logged in. I've tried to generate a new key, but with no change. Please Help!! I've tried numerous times to contact this silent warrior, with no response back. I would really like to use this product, but this is getting really frustrating. :(

Hi there,

Have you ran the launcher to check for updates? also have you tried the key on the old version to see if it defiantely works and there are no errors?
Try filling out the information in the 'new key' section in the actual TSW app. that might work too.

I'm having the same issue as Snagglefox, It's been installing tables all day with no avail... Has anyone found a solution to this yet?

I can give support if you guys contact me directly.

If you just ask in IRC or other forums or other places I wont be able to help because I wont see it, I cant view all the places all the time, but if you email me directly, i will reply much faster.

The "installing tables" all day problem is because your database user doesnt have permissions to create the tables or drop tables, this is normally fixed by either using the root user (that has all permissions) or give the database user more permissions.


The crash on server start problem is caused by failure of the hive extension to read/write on the database, this can be caused by many things, most of them fall in these :
1 - The database user that your server package uses doesnt have delete permisions.
2 - The database tables were not installed correctly so it fails to find them.
3 - The script itself was placed in the wrong possition, as far as the last dayz update, you should put it before the "anti wallhack" line in your file, this is near the bottom.
4 - The installer id was invalid when either the code was retrieved and generated (giving invalid code) or when the tables were installed (giving wrong table names).
5 - Most other problems are related to either other anti hacks or database permission problems.
