My teamspeak 64.31.13.66:4009

Is anyone able to help me?
I can connect to your teamspeak as well
or skype. I have been trying to get this to work for about 3 days now. im so frustrated with it. my clan just wants both towing and heli lift.

i can even put a plug for you in the MOTD on our server saying thanks. :)

I am running it on Epoch.
I reformated the server. and did a fresh install.

1.Then i put the Files in.

2.In the init.sql add execVM "R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG\init.sqf" @ the very bottom

3.Went into the arma2_CO__objects.sqf and added all the vehicles for epoch found here http://dayzepoch.com/forum/index.php?/topic/73-epoch-v101-item-list/

That was it.

Hope this helped you

hello i currently run a server on HFB .im having trouble adding heli and towing i follwed the R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG video from youtube on it which only shows dayz.st server. i run a epoch server on chero so my missions file is called DayZ_Epoch_11.Chernarus.pbo i edited that file and uploaded it but i dont get any tow or lifitng options in the game . is this the wrong file i am editing because i did the same for dayz_1.chernarus.pbo which was in same mission folder and didnt get anywhere with the script at all . do you have any input on something i might be doing wrong ?

Open your description.ext file in your mission PBO and look for

aiKills = 1;
diagRadio = 1;
diagHit = 1;

and put this under it

#include "R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG\desc_include.h"
class RscTitles
{
#include "R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG\desc_rsct_include.h"
};

This is what i had to put to get it to work

hey mate , yeah tried that as well on my DayZ_Epoch_11.Chernarus.pbo in my missions folder and cant get that to work either . my standard mission file is 159kb when i update it with heli.tow and re upload it its 273 i get to download the file log into the game but don't get any towing options at all for any vehicle even the ones i updated from your previous posts. i am stuffed on what i am doing wrong here

Not sure dude, I don't know much about scripting.
just what i did and it worked. sorry

did you put

//R3F Towing and shit (or whatever you want to title it)
execVM "R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG\init.sqf"

at the end of your init.sqf file?

So I've been following this thread and I've done everything. I added:
Code:
execVM "R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG\init.sqf"
at the bottom of init.sqf.

I've added the part to description.ext so it looks like
Code:
aiKills = 1;[/S]
[S]diagRadio = 1;[/S]
[S]diagHit = 1;[/S]

[S]#include "R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG\desc_include.h"[/S]

[S]class RscTitles[/S]
[S]{[/S]
[S]    #include "R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG\desc_rsct_include.h"[/S]
[S]};[/S]
[S]
I've set up tow-capable and towable objects in arma2_CO__objects.sqf

Anyone able to help?

Nevermind, I restarted my server one more time and it worked.

hi could i get a little help with this lol i had it working when i followed the tube vid then i tried to add all the other cars/choppers/etc and now nothing

when i first had it working all i did was the 3 steps on youtube

added : //R3F Towing and shit (or whatever you want to title it)
execVM "R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG\init.sqf"

then after the new cars/choppers etc couldnt get nothing so i tried adding:

#include "R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG\desc_include.h"
class RscTitles
{
#include "R3F_ARTY_AND_LOG\desc_rsct_include.h"
};

and still nothing at all =(

this is my mission file server is running epoch

http://www.megafileupload.com/en/file/440799/dayz-mission-pbo.html

any help would be great ive managed to get all the other scripts working i want "bandit ai/self blood/safezones/auto refuel" just cant get this one and its what everyone keeps asking me about been trying for the past 2 days

thanks =)

i to am at the same point untalkative is at. did every thing that the post said to do and nothing. so plz can some one look at his mission file and see whats up with it. my mission file looks just like his.

I added a couple of the Epoch cars/trucks and choppers. Right now it is setup so any vehicle can tow each other and all vehicles can be lifted by any chopper. Its still missing several vehicles but its better then nothing.

Use my mission pbo as a reference.
Go through and figure out what you want to be towable, meaning currently you could tow a Ural with a bike or Ural towed by a PBX.

What are the restrictions you are getting?

I also noticed that there is a file in the mission pbo that lists all the vehicles ingame so I'll be updating mine to have all the vehicles.

oh and I'm using HFB Servers for a host. The absolute worst support I've ever seen with a hosting company. Took 2 days to answer a presales question and going on 3 days now to get an answer on 2 support questions. I should have read the "About us" section first. Seems they are a 2 man shop. But they are "hiring" tech support people for no pay with the chance of a full time position, lol.

Hi Inkko, as an experiment I loaded you sample PBO file onto my server to see if it would work. it loaded up just fine except it spawned me on the opposite side of the mal from where i logged out, lol. I went to a dozen vehicles and "towing" did not come up on any of them. Any ideas what might be wrong?? Was that a working PBO?
