I'm not at all pissed at you for expressing your opinions, it's what I asked for and I welcome any constructive criticism thrown my way. This is just a tool that I, initially, was going to use myself, but figured I may as well share it with others as I found it very handy.
Also, sorry about...
Cheers for the suggestions. I'll address each one below.
With regards to the welcome messages showing as blue side channel text, I don't believe this is possible as it would have to be sent from a player within the server whereas my messages are sent using the RCon 'say' command.
Again...
Could you list some of the features of Gotcha that I could perhaps look at implementing? I'm always looking to make the whitelister more functional.
Also, I'll be uploading the console application either tomorrow or the day after. I've got a few other things I'm working on at the moment (non...
Ah crap. I forgot to mention that the global commands need to be triggered with the . key. So for example in global chat you'd need to type:
.whitelist off
.addnewplayers on
.checkusername on
I think BEC uses the '#' symbol for in-game commands so I had to swap it for a period/full-stop (.)...
It wasn't removed. However I did restructure my website so you're correct in that the link is broken. I've updated the OP with the new link.
You can get it here.

The service version that I'll be releasing in a few days only requires 4.0, so you should be fine with it.
With regards to my form, I'm not going to go into the complexities of submitting data using HTML forms and handling that with some server-side code. However, I made this JSFiddle for...
Hey guys, just a quick update (way overdue). I've been working on converting the whitelist into a service with a number of startup parameters and it should be done some time this week. I'll update the OP with details when I release it.
They use TCAdmin so you don't get the features such as the map and easily switching on/off kill messages, care packages etc. But these can all be accomplished by yourself with a bit of manual work. I essentially have all of the features that Dayz.st offer by using tools available elsewhere. You...
I switched from xstreamgaming.net to dayz.st the other week mainly due to the price difference. It took less than an hour of moving over to their server to realise how unstable their servers are. I switched back immediately. Apparently you do get what you pay for.
xstreamgaming.net might be...
I wrote a few scripts that would parse my log files for all of my player's GUIDs and automatically added them to the whitelist. If you want I can have a dig around to find it and send you it if you'd like. Let me know.
It doesn't check for names, no. So yes, you can fill in just the GUIDs and...
Hi mate,
I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here. With regards to keeping the application open: yes, you will need a dedicated computer where this application can run while you want the whitelist to be active.
With regards to the #whitelist on command, are you asking whether you can...
Hi Guys,
Sorry for the lack of updates recently. I've been busy working on other projects but I'll hopefully have some time soon to work a bit more on the whitelister. Mainly supporting multiple instances and being able to run the program as a service.
Hambeast, I'm sorry about not crediting...
Hi guys, thanks for all the suggestions. I have some time booked off of work next week so I'll be able to do some more work on the whitelister. I'll definitely look at turning this into a windows service and also implement a few more suggestions that were posted here. I'll keep you all updated...
Using rMod does require the client to be running rMod aswell. If they're not using it, they can still join the server, but they won't be able to see/use any of the banned vehicles.
Also, different maps have different sets of banned/unbanned vehicles which would be why you might see a different...
I don't believe these unique ids matter too much. Whenever I add a new instance I usually just start at 1000 and increment by 1 for every new object. Works perfectly for me. I've even accidentally used the same ID for different objects and it still seems to work fine. I'm using the new schema...
