I am buttoning up the zombie spawns tomorrow, loot tables look good, everything seems to be functioning great!

Just need Seven's attention on a last few things, and we should be good for a release as planned.

This will be the beginning of an entirely different mod.. just about everything has changed.
 
Graf added the new helicopter types to be optional crashes... I had a bunch of real life drama today so could not get everything I wanted to done.

I only "need" to do 1 or 2 more things before a release. Seven also got some great fixes in today as well.

Tomorrow I will focus first thing on the last details, All going well it should be good for a release before too late here EST.

Not sure how quick the client side push to DayZ Commander will be, hoping pretty quick, but we will of course have manual DL's here as well.

Not sure if I announced it here or not, but we've delayed the update so long, and added so much we've internally agreed a more realistic version for this release will be 0.7.7 the mod is really shaping up. The team has expanded, and really is cranking out the work now.

With M1lkm8n almost done with the initial SMD_Sara_A2 build, we will have not only his talents on modelling and revamping the map specifically for DayZ... BUT we will also have another release pretty quickly with all our nice new features on the shiny new version of the map!
 
So release candidate looks great, just have to button up some final details and then we shoudl be good to go for release.

I'd like to say tomorrow but not 100pct sure, we have to test battleye still.
 
I am now 100pct sure we're not ready for a release today... YAY...

Seven has not had the time I hoped he would. I'm not comfortable launching without him having time lined up where he can help, and that's not looking so good.

I've been spending entirely too much time and effort on fixing things that are "easy done" for others.

We will have a release soon enough but I'm not promising it's going to be in any number of days....

If it doesn't get to a point I am happy with by hook or crook I will release what we have latest by next thurs.

IF there is not a lot more testing or help on the mod besides me, there will be tons of BE issues and little to no ability to fix bugs if there are any... which I doubt there are, we've been playing this build for over a month ourselves.

Not sure if I'm actually disappointing anyone or not, I seem to be the only one who posts in this forum section lol.

Time to make the donuts. sticky, goddam stinking donuts...
 
We don't care about BE, any good server doesn't use the filters anyway. I'll still take the files :D

But on a serious note, i have managed to have some time in the dev build server and i am very impressed with what you guys have done and we where just about to open our Sahrani server having finally got round to it but now with the new build coming soon i was just wondering if they mission/server files and db structure will be much different to what we have now or should it be a few changes to our current working pbo's and it will all work as planned?
 
it's a cut and paste job so easy I can do it!!!

The server you're playing on was a normal install, I ftp'd in and copy/pasta'd the files in, no hive or db changes at all.
 
I noticed you have implemented self bloodbag with the client side files so we'll just change a few scripts around since that is an unneccasry add on for us to have in our pbo's since it will be client side and i would presume a few other small script changes will be needed for anything else we have added but other than that we are just waiting for you to cross the T's and dot the i's for the pending release:)

Lets hope we see a large influx of Sahrani servers starting up soon because this map and version you have done certainly deserves some extra attention;)

You´re extremely informative and Im sure that the delayes just make people even more curious about the new Sahrani. No doubt it will be awesome! Looking forward to it and keep up the fantastic work
 
Delays my fault :) Files are good for signing and releasing, I just want to actually do a proper test myself before signing them off as good.

For all the months I've been messing around with this game, and going in and looking at all the dif. characters, I've never really been FLOORED by a skin.

Pliskin's were certainly getting me more and more excited.... Well. He gone and done it. I have a favorite skin now:
