one of my players is stuck in wait for host screen

upon joining my server one of my players gets stuck in an all black "wait for host" screen.. other players can join... this has just been happening to him.. sounds like its client side.. anybody know how to fix this?

I had this issue before and i tried the following
Reinstall both arma2 and dayz patchs
Remove profile from the database (if used)
