[Support] DZMS DayZ Mission System

Vampire, since upgrading to 1.63.112555 the only problem I now have since updating the files is that the AN2 mission (SM2) is having a problem where the plane is stuck at 0,0,0 on the map..... It just circles around there. Is this something you are aware of? Anyone else having the same problem?

mine seems to work fine although it is almost immediately "shot down by UN peacekeepers"

I made these changes, I just thought that they would have been updated in the primary download file so I was a bit confused. thanks though

Hi Vampire, I had already used the latest files from github but, using the changelog on what files to change as I have modded mine quite a bit. So, I'm going to do a full compare on the files now against your latest version.

In answer to your question, no errors in the rpt..... I'm running Dayz Epoch Chernarus 1.63.112555 so, chernarus being the only difference to you I think....
 
Help, I put the server online for 30 minutes missions are ok, but when I checked my RPT was 32mb and with this Message:

Go to the github he linked above, download the entire zip file, replace all of the files on your server with brand new ones. That ill take care of "= nil;" problem. You aren't using the latest files because that problem has been fixed. If you read the previous posts you will save yourself a lot of time and waiting.
 
Vampire, Just wondering, I would like to make my AI much more difficult, could you give me some settings for much harder AI? that actually hit you when they shoot at you?
 
Everyone on my server is being killed when they enter a Mission vehicle.

This may be related to 112555. I'll have to look into it.

Temp fix would be changing all these to false in DZMSInit.sqf.

Ive quoted the killing a hacker part out of my cleanup ages ago for HALO respawns. It's just not worth the trouble and it doesn't catch hackers lol

Its fine if you already modified the line to always be false.

A person running Epoch on a already existing map addon with DayZ will have both return true (Such as Taviana or Namalsk) but a vanilla DayZ server should only return one as true.

However, the AI do shoot at it when it turns up though, is that by design? Also, the AI seem to spawn some way from where the crate is dropped which, is fine if there isn't a hill in the way but, often means that the crate sits there untended. Is this also by design?

I also have one more quick question. There's mention in the DZMS files and the RPT of using WAI's relations. I don't know what this means but, can I somehow add custom heli patrol and heli para spawns to the DZMS missions? Is it a simple call across to the WAI folder? Does it mean that sort of relation....?

Yeah the AN2 Missions seems to still be working fine for me. It hasn't been updated.

The AI shoot at it because the pilot is a CIVILIAN like zombies, which they are hostile towards. I chose not to make it EAST like the ground AI, or else it may see players and deviate off course to try to "track" them.

The crate sitting unattended is also by design. The AN2 drops the crate directly above the AI, or very near, and the wind drifts the crate.

DZMS uses its own AI, but it uses the relations from other AI Systems. Relations are who are hostile to who, and so on.

There are not helicopter patrols for DZMS, but BetterZedThanDead posted how to add vehicle patrols to some missions in the DZMS Section on the EpochMod forums.
 
Thanks Vampire, I will check that out and maybe also try a bit of copy paste..ish to see if I can get it working for the other spawn types. Owing to my technical n00bishness could be quite funny to see how that goes.... :)
 
I am looking for a way to randomize the AI gear loadouts. They are spawning with random weapons all well and good but I would like for them to get random gear from the DZMSGear0-4 options instead of spawning with everything in the array like they currently are. Does anyone have any code or ideas on how to implement this?

I got the added Magazines to randomize from the lists in the DZMSAIConfig.sqf file.

Open your DZMSAISpawn.sqf file under Scripts and do the following.

Replace
