Origins Server?

A little bird told me that the file should be leaked again. Let's'hope it is true. I wonder if they release it early to block the expension of the community build......

They should face it, this version is working good enought that people will continue to prefer to play on on official server. We should contact josh @dayzcommander ans ask him if we could have our own @mod in his software. This way we will continue to exist no matter what.

Made me laugh a little bit.

Wasn't there a statement of a BMRF administrator that the Origin "Creators" want to add something that makes the server.pbo unnecessary? Any updates on this?

Edit : Found it. http://bmrf.me/vbforums/showthread.php?4952-UPDATED-5-4-DayZ-Origins-1-7-1-server-is-now-live

- The server has no chance of updating past 1.7.1, because GP will make these server files irrelevant very soon.

they dont make them unnessesary they make them irrelevant which means USELESS...
they will not work with the new version...

but lets hope these guys who have leaked them the first time can do this again... =)

Looks like your HiveExt isnt responding or loading up,

1) check your cmd launch line make sure the correct directories have been set.
2) have you edited your HiveExt.ini accordingly?
3) do you have the correct .dll files in the correct directory.

most importantly! use the new (origins) database.dll as the old one doesn't load the database.

goodluck

Testing is pretty much done, I'll tidy up some lose ends and release it tomorrow.

I'll be also releasing another version which uses less server resources, for the lower system spec servers and hope for better performance.

I guess I did everything right. I use the server from https://github.com/MajorPainage/Origins
I suppose that we are using different servers.
I will be grateful if you tell me where to get the new (origins) database.dll.
And thank you that responded to help me.

As a rule, I think it would be a trivial mistake :)

Hello all!!!

I keep reading this thread all days for news, i like how all you guys are working hard on this!!!

Im using Cortez server files and for the mission files i just joined a private server (i dont remember the name, and modify and using this one. So far the server was running 2 weeks pretty fine.

Still need to fix: Grave cross and 4 hours day and night (i like 24hs cycle so i dont care to fix it).

I have a dedi 2 x Intel Xeon 5420 (2 x 2.53+ GHz) 1 x 500TB Sata2 Windows Server 2008 R2 Web Edition 1 Gbps Port Unmetered Bandwidth. I will not say on wich company i rented the dedi.
Excellent Ddos protection so far.

I have 6 dayz servers (epoch, namalsk, 2017, taviana, cherno pvp and cherno nonpvp), and 1 origins running (1 more working on with cherno map not taviana).

I dont have much players on the common dayz so im planning on make all dayz origins.

Im open to recive and join handss with anyone who wants to work with me and make 8 dayz unnofficial servers!

Contact me on TS3 142.4.215.214:9999.

I will be more than happy if anyone wants to join me, im doing all by myself and it takes too much time.

I will share my dedi and knowledge with the team for the only reason to have Dayz origins servers running for the community.

I need too a community guy to help my with the website because i dont ave time to run it (armaroadwarriors.enjin.com).

Thx to all of you for reading and for working so hard on this!!!!

Long life to opensource!!

You can find my servers by Arma Road Warriors,

Got it working and my players are having a ball. I've managed to get Sarges AI workgin and I see self blood bag is already in there but BluePheonix's admin tools are being a pain. It seems to be related to

_playerMonitor = [] execFSM "admintools\player_monitor.fsm";

which replaces:

_playerMonitor = [] execVM "\z\addons\dayz_code\system\player_monitor.sqf";

in init.sqf. What I don't get is I cannot find the referenced path in the original line so I am unsure why it's even working. I had thought to try to merge the two player_monitor.fsm files but can't find the original. Anyone have any idea how to get this working? I'd like my admin's to have admin abilities.

Has anyone been able to get the admin tools working with Origins?

Why they sell the infinistar menu, i use infinistar, wuat and lots of other tools. I dont like the idea that people modiy or edit a little someone else tool and claim it own and sell it.

We are trying and working on dayz origins cuz the creators dont want to share and this guys try to sell some scripts?

LAME.

If anyone want to add admin tools, just let me know. Ill do it for free.

maybe I'm wrong but the version I saw floating around last september/october looks nothing like the one being sold today.

I was told that m0nkey was the author from several sources. Hangender told me that he was m0nkey's mentor on that project? IDK but all I can say is if I request a special feature added to my anti hacks, hangender is happy to add it in.

Look, i dont want to argue or fight in any way, all i say is that if we all trying to fight origins guys for trying to sell something that should be open and free for all the community, i think is the same with antihacks, hacks, scripts or anything, cuz all are created from bohemia and all should be free and shared.

I really dont think that anything should be sell or buyed.

Like i say, i have lots of different tools, all working fine and i can share it with anyone who wants, just contact me.

Did you pack the .pbo?
Also check your log and see if it's providing a clue.

When editing pCleanup for the Ural content, everytime it's been edited, the server doesn't spawn vehicles!
Ive checked all the codes for errors and typo's can't find anything. Would anyone be able to run over my codes?
