[Release] BaseBuilding 1.2 Improvements 0.1 (better and editable Keycode, permanent Owner)

I See, So if i were to go into the database and change "Chance" to 1 on every vehicle they'll all spawn?

I'll also reextract the dayz_code and take a look to double check whether or not they're empty.

That is the theory but I could be wrong.

I will start a new thread for Vilayer Servers as I have made some really good progress today installing stuff with their Add-on manager and I don't want to highjack this thread too much. :)

Well i tried changing about 200+ vehicles to 1 and spawn manager didnt spawn a single thing.

On the other hand, i managed to uninstall the Mod Managers Base Building and i can even login now, however objects that have been built still have "Move Item" is that normal? Just wondering before i decide to reinstall base building 1.2 and then install this, just want to make sure i'm doing a fresh install.

Edit: Installed Base Building 1.2 and then These Improvements and People are still able to "Move Object" on Base Pieces etc.

Also not saving the removal of stuff to the database, and also not saving tents to the database either.
 
Got everything working at last but the change code box appears white the enter code one is fine.

Can you post your server and world pbo please? Still cant get this working.

base building 1.2 is working fine but when i install this tents dissapear and people can still move walls fixed the problem of deleting stuff not saving to database

I cant give you a full list as im not on my pc at the moment

An2 crash with care packages
Lighting (house & street)
Sarge AI
Admin Panel
Self bloodbag
Auto refuel

Thats all i can think of right now

just been testing some more and it don't work on epoch objects wasn't saving plus cars positions wasn't saving also screwed up somewhere.
 
hey how do I whitelist this players are seeing the edit keycode panel then it instantly closes I kno it has to do with my anti hack but I have no idea how to do it without someone trying to charge me 30

also seems when I edit the code the number pad that pops up is all white and I cant see any numbers or anything whats causing that?
 
ive gotten base building to work with no problems on epoch before update and after just having issues with antihack blocking the menu for other players and no idea how to fix it
 
I had someone fix the menus for me but now tents and vaults arnt saving after restart :/ can anyone point me in the right direction
 
Fuck this shit i been working on this for 4 days now and still cant get it working on epoch 1.0.1.1 i know the issue lies with server_publishObject.sqf but don't know how to fix it

I uploaded you a fresh DayZ Epoch 1.0.1.1 version with my Basebuilding Improvements 0.3 already included.

What is new in this version?
-can't build in trader cities or remove things from there
-30m Plots are required for all buildables (so you can now "claim" territory with that)
-30m Plot is now tied to PlayerUID like all other buildables (instead of using CharacterID like in standard Epoch Mod
-removed 2 Panel restriction in 300m cause it isn't needed anymore cause of the 30m Plots
-abusing fixes for:
start building out of road and walk onto that then build there though its restricted
same with walk into trader city and some other restrictions (like 30m plot)
(you get punished if you try to abuse something like that and will loose your materials ;) )
-all old functions like Edit Code, 4 digit System, permanent Owner and reliable Codes are of course still in it
-everything I forgot now to write

I don't have currently the time to write down every change I made, but you can just download a clean version of Epoch 1.0.1.1 files and compare them with mine if you have problems in integrating stuff. (Notepad++ and http://sourceforge.net/projects/npp-compare/ will be quite helpfull)

Just download it and unpack the files at your DayZ Epoch Server directory. I would consider to backup your old files and then delete them instead of just overwriting the old files with the new ones of the .rar

yo kikyou do I need to install the base building 1.2 from demyo or whatever cause im having so many issues with it
I even went back to default pbo's and just put in his base building ,bought cars and trader menus arnt showing up :/
 
found a n issue when i got to remove something via enter code to remove option it wont delete from the database (put a fence down restart server then remove) but it will if i select the green scroll option to remove. any way i can just remove the enter code for removal option?

This package is a clean DayZ Epoch 1.0.1.1 Version with integrated the 1.2 Basebuilding + my Basebuilding Improvements 0.3

You can just use this server.pbo and mission.pbo and if you want to add more go for it ;)

Very strange cause they use the same player_remove.sqf, I will test it out later but I didn't had that issue yet o_O
 
thanks kik I did that before I even posted hehe and its working great so far everythings saving along with all menus working only thing that didn't save is a basic wire fence I put down but im jnot worried aboyt that lol

hey man can you do a quick test??? can you build something then restart the server edit the code then remove with the code? when i do this it isn't removing the object from the database .
