Hello and Moin, Moin...

i am working on it. At this point, i work on agricultural roads and farms, so that pictures are all like the same. But, i will post tonight a few new pics. At this time, the map will be binarized and i will play the Map to take Pictures.

I am looking for a cheap hoster to host the map to play the alpha version and later the beta.

Hello,

here some little Updates:

- added agricultural roads
- added fruitfarms and farms
- added fields
- added some little Villages (some Houses along roads)
- added new Town "NIEDERSALWEY"
- added new roads from town to town
- added Trees an bushes along roads
- testing the map as DayZ and ARMA II Warfare Version
- reworked some Woods (Framekiller) for better Gameplay.

Hello,

here some new updates.

-added some aggricultural roads
-added some farms
-added "Castle Fahrenbrecht"
-reworking (WIP) village Fahrenbrecht
-reworking some roads
-working on german trafficsigns (I hate Oxygene)
-added some new "Scenarios".
-added some new POIs

Working on the ARMA 3 Warfaremap are still paused. I will push the DayZ Sauerland map to finish it to a BETA Version.

Hello,

i am occasionally starting a Testserver on my privat "Testing" Computer, so that you can take a look to the Map. My Bandwith limits the Usernumbers. The Serverstatus is shown in my Signature.
You need to play the Map the ARMA2 BetaPatch, Version 103419. You will find it here: http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php
You must download the FullAlphamap here: http://www.s6computer.de/sl/@DayZSauerland.rar
If you have downloaded the map before, you only need to download the Updatefile. Update: http://www.s6computer.de/sl/sauerland.rar . Copy the extracted files to your @DayZsauerland directory.

Hey, errors are a feature in Alphaversions, so dont be worry about it. :)

Hello,

CRC Error occurs, when i upload the File.

I have uploaded a new Version of the Map. The Download should be fine, yet.

The SERVER is running for testing till 18 o´clock (MEZ).

If you have Problems, running the map, post me a PM. If you have Errors like missing Models etc. Mail me too.


German:
Die CRC Fehler entstehen immer dann, wenn ich einen Upload durchführe. Aufgrund meiner Bandbreite dauert das etwa eine Stunde. Der Download ist fertig und sollte jetzt funktionieren.

Der Testserver läuft noch bis etwa 18:00 Uhr.

Sollten Probleme mit der Karte bestehen oder Models fehlen, schreibt mir ne Pers. Mail.

Loving the progress on this terrain falconsan, I've been toying with my own for the past few weeks, it's certainly a very draining process.

In regards to the 'Not enough memory', I've found it easier to simply leave out all the trees while adding/editing buildings/objects. I tend to place trees and bushes around my towns, but the main forests I only import when I want to PBO everything up :)

Oh, the Error occurs, when i use Copy/Paste Trees. I have made a Copy of my Map. One Map to place Buildings and Objects and one Map to place Trees and bushes. To merge this maps, i must Copy/paste the Trees. When to many Trees marked, the fu....ing error comes. :)

Hello,

here a little Update. I am working at the Traffic signs for Fahrenbrecht. Modelling suxx, but must be and took a lot of time. Without the signs, no one will find the right way to the citys on the map.

This is the way, i made the Signs:

1.) I made a roadmap (screenshot) of the town.


2) Now, i am looking for roadcrossings and made pics from the crossings. Then, i put pictures of the needed signs into the new picture, so that i know, wich signs i must create.
